Mal am Rande,

ich habe Dave mal eine Mail geschrieben mit Bildern von meinen Reifen und der Frage nach einem Buch!

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the email and the tire pictures. I m having the same experience with the same tires on my 2009 R1, and I am running medium hard rear at 23 hot and front tire at 35 hot. I am finding that healing these rear tires can be done in several ways:
- hot pressure at 23psi is essential with a known to be accurate gauge
- rebound needs to be sped up/made faster by removing some damping
- more compression is useful in keeping the rear shock in mid stroke
- increasing rear ride height to get weight off the rear tire

My tire is in the same condition after 70 miles at a fast pace on the track. I am back at the track next week for more testing to see if I can heal the tire.

As far as a book is concerned, I am going to write one this winter. I have been getting many many requests for this, so I need to get it done I want to have it finished by Feb 2011.
