OHLINS R1 SPRING RATE

Kontaktdaten:

Beitrag von BIZI »

Hello,

just bought Ohlins rear shock for my R1 model 46PRCLS.

I did get two springs:

1093-29/90 398
1093-26/85 010 (this spring is mounted)

can someone help me with what this means?I did some search on Ohlins page, but no luck. What spring to use, as I weight around 95 kg with my gear.

Best regards,

Bizi

The spring rates are 85 and 90 n/mm.

hi Bizi,

you might wanna check the effective spring rate due a test at a suspension specialist who can check the rate.

I just experienced that there is a difference in the springrate on the label and the actual spring rate.

best regards,

Hy Bizi,

with your weight I recon to change the spring to 90 N/mm.

Since you might not be able to change it by yourselves, follow the advice by our fellow "rennenfürspass" consult and a "Pro" and check the spring rate anyway.

Have fun with your Öhlins.

cheers
