1. Right before the bike went to production, Kawasaki changed piston vendors. The new pistons are cracking where the circlip is held in.
2. They also changed piston ring vendors. The new vendor is a manufacturer specializing in "racing only" rings. The new rings are more free-floating and have a very low friction coefficient. These cracks are on un-ridden bikes...Kawasaki didn't know where these cracks came from until they went to the assembly line and found that the welder (the robot welder) was off by 3mm.

Konnte auch kein Kawa Händler am Wochenende bei der vorstellung der 2011er ZX10 eine antworten geben, weder bei 2Rad-Tech noch bei Höly war ein Schlüssel vorhanden. Hab von PT was wegen Auspuffklappe gelesen, Fliegt die einem um die Ohren oder eher was anderes Weis jemand was konkretes und wann kann man Sie kaufen bzw. wann wird sie den dann Ausgeliefert

Risse im Kolben,zu hoher Ölverbrauch und Risse im Lenkkopf...
Wobei wohl durch die Risse im Rahmen die Motorräder ins Werk zurück geholt werden
